Trust God when you can’t trace Him

Good morning Beautiful! It would be so good if we could see exactly what God is doing. Imagine if you could understand the full reason for the situation you are currently working through and if you knew exactly what was going to happen next. What if you knew how the rest of your life was going to play out right now? It would be a relief to know, right?
You already know that God’s ways are higher than your ways. You aren’t going to know and understand everything He does simply because you are not God. But, consider this…what if God is bringing your victory through the back door? What if He’s keeping it pure, away from the enemy’s influence? Or what if He’s hiding it, not because He doesn’t want you to see it, but because He’s developing it and you through the process? What if He wants to mature you through the time you’re waiting so that when you actually receive it, you have the ability to hold it…and to keep it?
Your faith is described as “the substance of things hoped for” (Hebrews 11:1). It is the ability to trust God and believe God even when you can’t see or trace God. This is so critical to freeing you in this life. Faith causes you to relax, even when it looks like nothing is changing because you believe that it will. Even if you feel like your faith isn’t strong enough to sustain you, it’s ok…the Bible gives the perfect prescription for you to grow your faith in Isaiah 40:31. Know that your faith – which is the substance of what you HOPE for (Hebrews 11:1) will grow stronger as you hope in the Lord.
Foundational Scripture for Today: “…but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah
