See beyond your situation

Good morning Beautiful! In the midst of working to achieve your goals, you probably won’t see everything you want to happen actually happening exactly when you want it to. You’ll also notice that sometimes, things don’t work out the way you planned. In fact, you’ll see a lot of things look the exact opposite of how you think it would look if you really were making progress. However, this is how our God works – not according to what YOU think, but according to what HE has planned, and His ways are higher than our ways. His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. See beyond your situation.

Growing as a Christian requires you to get more and more comfortable with a few of God’s promises about your goals when you feel challenged by the following:

1. Not seeing the full plan – God always directs your steps. Even with direction of your steps, you simply will not always see and/or understand the full plan God has for you.It will feel frustrating at times because you want to find assurance in the process. Instead, God wants you to find assurance IN HIM. The process will change, but God will never change. This is how you create stability in your life – by trusting in God, and God only. Prov. 3:5 Promise – if you trust, God will make your path straight.

2. Not judging your process – So…it doesn’t look the way you thought it would and you had to go through things you never anticipated. Maybe you’re going through right now. Only God knows what it takes to get you from one level to the next. Even though you went through (or are going through) the fire, God will bring you out. Psalms 66:12 Promise – you’ll go through difficulty, but God will bring you out into abundance.

Isaiah 45:15 says that “God works in mysterious ways.” If your ultimate faith remains in God, you can go throughout your day with joy and with peace, knowing that He will take you into His BEST for you. Trust that when you do your part (faith) – God is able to do His part freely.

Foundational Scripture for Today: “Then he touched their eyes and said, “Because of your faith, it will happen.” Matthew 9:29
