Let God write your love story

Good morning Beautiful!  When you let God write your love story, you walk away with so much more than you could’ve ever imagined.  It’s a challenge to get to the place where you REALLY let God be in control, but it’s possible.  It requires you to lay down your will, seek Him, bathe your soul in renewing, positive beliefs about yourself and what you’re capable of, and asks a fresh perspective of God and who He is to manifest in your spirit.

To get to the place where you let God write your love story, you have to let go of the past, cut off toxic relationships with people you’ve dated who keep resurfacing, and literally redirect your attention to God.  Try reading books – Choosing God’s Best by Dr. Don Raunikar was one of the books on courtship that spells out – through stories, graphs and real examples – exactly how to implement your courtship plan.  You should also focus on the things you love to do, by developing your skills in that area.  This is a good time to work on obtaining an additional certification, developing a hobby and just hanging out with your girlfriends.  My closest girlfriend and I had a “Things to do before we get married” checklist that we loved checking activities off of!

When you take your mind off of how much you want a relationship, you’ll get the relationship you’ve been desiring.  People shared that with me and I can tell you – it’s absolutely true.  When you take your hands off, and focus on the things God has given you dominion over, you allow God to be GOD in your life and do the thing for you that you couldn’t do no matter how many different ways you’ve tried…bring you the love of your life.

Let go…let God write your love story.

Foundational Scripture for Today:  “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
