Expect God’s Favor in your life

Good morning Beautiful!  This week, we’ve been talking about God’s favor, and how it provides protection, makes a way for you, and puts you in a unique position to bless others simply because you have been blessed yourself.  God’s favor is a gift, and it’s freely given to you as a Christian, however, you hold the ability to expect God’s favor in your life.

God wants for you as His child to expect good things from Him – Jesus explained that if we as humans know how to give good gifts to our children, then how much more does our Father in heaven desire to give us good things?  Sometimes you have an attitude of expectation, and sometimes, the days are just so hard that you feel it’s safer for you to just not expect anything good, because it doesn’t “look” like it’s going to happen.  You may be so aggravated by your job, or so discontent in your relationship or lack thereof, that you have forgotten that you serve a good God, a God who has ordered your steps, and just wants you to keep walking so that you can experience the fullness of His glory in your life!

expect-gods-favorPsalms 66:12 says “You let people ride over our heads; we went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of abundance.”  Your pain is acknowledged, but just know that your healing and blessing after that pain is over will be acknowledged as well.  This is a message of encouragement to your spirit, Beautiful, to just KNOW that your God is bringing you to an ABUNDANT PLACE.

Expect God’s favor in your life.  Believe it.  And you will receive it.

Foundational Scripture for Today:Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you.…” Mark 11:24
