Choosing Purity Blesses Your Life

Good morning Beautiful!  Yesterday, we reviewed the fact that purity blesses your life.  Today, I want to encourage you by sharing the ways that you’ll see blessing come to you when you decide to pursue purity.  People who decide to honor God by being pure will reap blessings according to the word.

Way #1:  Purity honors God.  When you decided to honor God by being obedient no matter the cost, you allow a release in your life that brings Gods best to you. “If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.” Isaiah 1:19

Way #2:  Purity increases your integrity with your partner.  When you state something and follow through – especially if it’s as hard  as purity is, your partner learns that they can trust your word.  Trust increases the success of your communication, which is extremely important to the success of your relationship. “Better to live on a corner of the roof than share a house with a quarrelsome wife (or husband).” Proverbs 25:24

Way #3:  Purity sets a standard of value.  Ladies, a man needs to know that you have a standard, and you need to know if he will honor your standard.  If you meet a man who constantly (or even sometimes) tries to persuade you to disobey God, this should be a huge red flag and an invitation to end that relationship.  If he’s doing it now, he’ll do it even more after he has you.  However, when you meet a man who honors your standard, just the simple fact that he has to faithfully wait for you causes you to increase in value in his eyes.  Men are hunters.  They have a need to pursue you – so let him wait and you both will enjoy his natural pursuit.

Don’t get discouraged if you make a mistake – however, don’t use God’s grace as a reason to make mistakes either.  God will protect you, but you have to do your part and try your best.  Make the decision to choose purity today, and watch your life be blessed!

Foundational Scripture for Today: “Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.” 1 Corinthians 6:18
