A peaceful and confident spirit

Good morning Beautiful! There’s a lot of beauty in a peaceful and confident spirit. As children of God, this is our right and privilege! God wants to give you His highest and best life. He really doesn’t need you staying up all night worrying about it or allowing it to dominate your thoughts during the day to make it happen.

Running through questions, again and again, starts out as simply being inquisitive, and then it grows into worry, which opens the door to the spirit of fear. Once you decide to allow the spirit of fear in your life, it pushes you further from the perfect will of God.

When God leads you, you may FEEL fear, but you don’t have to RESIDE in fear. Even though you initially feel fear, the word of God says that you can turn your concerns over to Him. He will give you peace that surpasses all understanding. (Phil. 4:7) You CAN rest your heart in quiet confidence today.

God knows what He’s doing.  He WILL give you instructions at the right time, and asks for your obedience and trust in the meantime. This is a practice, meaning you may not get it perfect the first time – give your best to God, and He will come along side you and assist you.

If you’re tempted to take it into your own hands, continually give that to God today as well. God is ALWAYS working things together for the good of those who are called according to His purpose! (Rom. 8:28)

Just because you don’t see what God is doing doesn’t mean that He’s not moving. Rest your heart in quiet confidence that God’s got you.

Foundational Scripture for today: “Finally, brothers and sisters, keep you thoughts on whatever is right or deserves praise: things that are true, honorable, fair, pure, acceptable, or commendable.” Philippians
